About me#

I am Andrey Markelov, a cloud and Linux architect based in Stockholm, Sweden. I have spent more than twenty years in IT infrastructure—designing, building, and operating platforms for telco, enterprise, and training environments.
I am also an author of books on GNU/Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes (including study guides for OpenStack and RHCSA certification topics). I hold a long list of industry certifications—among them RHCA, CKA, and CKAD—and I still enjoy turning complex stacks into material other people can learn from.

About this site#
Markelov.Dev is my personal site: a long-running technical blog, a shelf for my books, and a place to publish companion material for readers.
- Blog — notes and articles on Linux, cloud, OpenStack, containers, Red Hat technologies, and related topics. Many posts date back to the late 2000s; newer entries sit alongside them on the home page.
- My books — descriptions and ordering links for titles I have written or contributed to, including the RHCSA 10 Study Companion.
- RHCSA 10 Study Companion Addons — exercise scripts and chapter pages for the Red Hat RHCSA 10 Study Companion (lab use only; treat systems as disposable).
If you are here from one of my books: welcome, and thank you for reading.
